The iconic front porch is a functional marvel. It joins the home with the natural world, connects family members with friends and neighbors, and persuades everyone who enters its welcoming space to slow down, enjoy the leisurely moment, and spend some time visiting with one another.
That’s why we’ve chosen The Front Porch as the name of our quarterly. Just as the front porch is all about cordial conversation, so we hope to pass on welcome news about the wealth of services, restaurants, and businesses, large and small, that are part and parcel of the Wichita-area community, plus short articles that may pique your interest. The Front Porch will come to your front porch four times a year, and we hope you welcome it as eagerly as you do your friends and neighbors.
